Sigrid Van De Wijer
Physical fitness has always been a major part of Sigrid’s life. Receiving her Masters degree in Physical Education was just the beginning of a journey to learn more about the human physical body. An introduction to Shiatsu helped her to understand the other dimensions of our existence. Then Sigrid discovered Yoga! Over the years she grew more and more passionate about ‘fitness’ and enjoyed reaching out to others wanting to take care of their own health and wellbeing. Looking for the necessary tools to be able to assist appropriately she attended several trainings and workshops, and still continues to do so in order to learn and grow. She received her Yoga Teacher Training with Yogalife (Certified Yoga Alliance RYS200-300) and attended different workshops on alignment and the therapeutic value of yoga. Sigrid used to be a back patient for a long time, but thanks to yoga she now enjoys a healthy back!
